Yes APEVIA, you could have lowered the weight of the all the cases you sold by omitting the PSU and just FedEx-ing all your PSUs directly to the dump. I did find some that were “rated” to handle the eventual power draw I predicted. The power savings on most modern CPUs is at the max TDP end of the range, not the idle end. Also, depending on your workload, having a higher TDP CPU may actually save you power if it can finish the job quicker and return to idle at a much faster pace than a slower more power efficient CPU.
